Spotting the Signs

It is not always easy to spot a change in our children’s behaviour especially if they are afraid if they talk to an adult they will make things worse.

Here are some signs to look out for that might indicate that your child is being bullied:

  • Change in attitude, not their usual self, has become quiet, resentful or more demanding of your time.
  • Unwilling to go to school or gets upset at the thought of going to school.
  • Unexplained illness or your child says that they feel too unwell to attend school.
  • Damage to clothes or property.
  • Bruising or scratches.
  • Withdrawn behaviour.
